News Update

Nurture Award

The National Nurture Network are visiting the school on Thursday 3rd October to assess  for the Nurturing school award. Over the past three years we have been committed to ensuring that each pupil within St Columbkille’s Primary has access to key emotional and social developmental support.  In partnership with many parties, including the parent council and families of the school, we have developed the Starbase, a safe and dedicated space where our pupils can grow in confidence and self-awareness, supported by trained staff.

Multi-Cultural Cooking Kitchen

After the great success of last year’s Multi-Cultural Cooking Kitchen, we are delighted to announce its return for this session. The idea behind this parental partnership programme is to celebrate the great number of different cultures that help to make St Columbkilles the rich and engaging community that it is. Each month holds a different cultural focus and pupils will be able to sample food from that region while learning key interesting new facts.

September Weekend

The school will be closed on Friday 26th September and Monday the 30th September. The school will re-open at 9am on Tuesday 1st October. Have a nice weekend with.
