Maths Week Scotland:
This week saw the launch of the nationwide initiative ‘Maths Week’ we decided to get involved in Maths Week through Sumdog. All Sumdog logins and usernames have been sent home and the pupil involvement has been excellent, with just over 120 pupils logging in and taking part. Please email email@example.com if you are having any issues with Sumdog.
We also participated in Maths Week through our own St. Columbkille’s Maths Week Challenge along Rutherglen Main Street. The competition will end on Monday 17th September. Thank you to all the children who have completed their sheets and handed them in!
The school’s Sports Council met with Paul Wright from South Lanarkshire Leisure on Monday to plan for the term ahead. The boys and girls have work incredibly hard as a team to come up with innovative ideas for the school. Keep up the good work!

Mr Bollen (Head Teacher) and Miss McKenna (Depute Head Teacher) came into the school on Monday evening to share information and answer questions about the P7-S1 transition. The House Captains will had their first official duties during our Curriculum Evening where they welcomed parents and showed them to the correct classrooms.
