As part of our drive to promote and recognise children’s achievement we are evaluating our current use of Personal Learning Plans (PLPs).The aims of PLPs are to:
– Deepen and further learning rather than simply recording and measuring it.
– Aid reporting
– Provide pupils ownership of their own learning
– Improve communication,
– Give parents an opportunity to understand and contribute to discussions with their child about their learning progress and aid support with any barriers to learning during term time
We have used our current approach for a number of years and would like your opinion on whether the process we are using meets the above aims and is fit for purpose.
